"Many brides these days are deciding to do away with the age old tradition of the wedding garter. How exactly this wedding tradition came about is a topic for another day, but our love for this fine bridal accessory sprouted out of the need for something fun and different. "

Bridal garters are often the last thing on your 'to do' wedding list - often picked up at the wedding boutique or designer you had your gown made.

At The Little shop of Finery we aim to change things up a little. We try to put the fun and magic back into this part of your wedding by creating magical pieces suited to the romantic and adventurous bride.

Each of our pieces are lovingly designed and handmade in Cape Town, telling a unique story to suit all our brides' vibrant personalities - there truly is one for every individual bride.

We source our fabrics and trims locally and only use the softest of tulles and most fab trims in the process.

Our made to order process allows us to keep reinventing styles and although we love the pieces we've come up with, we are always willing to partner with our brides in customizing they're wants and needs.
